Environmental Impact Evaluation on Water and Soil Environment of an Integrated Circuit Project
To assess environmental feasibility of integrated circuit industry, their current situations and impact assessment on surface water, ground water and soil were done. Prediction showed that F-, NH3-N, Phosphate, COD(Chemical Oxygen Demand), TOC(Total Organic Carbon) and SS(Suspended Solid) concentrations in effluent of industrial wastewater would be 1.85 mg/L, 1.85 mg/L, 0.32 mg/L, 119.7 mg/L, 58.7 mg/L and 34.2 mg/L respectively. These results met level 3 standard of Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard. Toxic contents in the wastewater were far lower than permitted. Monitoring showed that groundwater quality could meet the class III standards of Quality Standard for Ground Water. While the infiltration prevention measures must be taken for the sewage collection and handling system etc. Waste solids or liquids should be classified and delivered to different dealers to disposal. Many element contents except cadmium could meet the standards. So this project had little influence on surrounding water and soil environment. Therefore on the condition of adopting corresponding precaution measures, this project was feasible on water and soil environment.
