A Novel Power Splitter Based on the Waveguide E- type T Junction
This paper points out the deficiency of the traditional power splitters and introduces the principle of the waveguide E-type T junction power divider. On this basis, an improved waveguide E-type T junction power splitter is proposed with the advantages of high isolation, low insertion loss, smal size and wide bandwidth. The three-dimensional smulation software CST is used n modeling and smulating. The measured results show that the nsertion loss is less than 0.12dB, the return loss is better than 18dB and the isolation between the two output ports is better man 15dB from 12 to 17 GHz.
