Adaptive Extended Targets Detection Method Based on Wavelet Transform In Gaussian Clutter
In the detection of high range resolution(HRR) radar, the target profile has one or some scattering points distributed in the radial distance. In this paper, in order to improve the detection performance of the HRR radar, a new adaptive extended targets detection method based on wavelet transform in the presence of Gaussian clutter is proposed. First, this paper applies the method of wavelet transform to the target location of the range profile, then it puts forword the generalized likelihood rate test(GLRT) detection method of adaptive energy integration and analyzes the influence of the scattering density of the extended targets. At last, in order to decrease the false alarm probability, after GLRT detection, the method applies the binary integration to the 0/1 signal. The result of simulation proves the efficiency of the adaptive distributed targets detection algorithm.
