Development of the Traveling Crane Main Girder CAE Platform Based on ANSYS
The finite element modeling and the numerical simulation of general main girder demand profound mechanical knowledge and engineering experience, so it is very difficult and needs more time. For this situation, this paper puts forward a secondary development based on ANSYS and sets up a virtual simulation platform used in general main girders design. The complexity of verification and checking on the design plan of crane main girder is reduced and a quick PEA modeling and simulation is made possible. It also offered an effective help on manufacture of crane products.
