Millimeter Wave for MIMO Small Antenna Systems and for Mobile Handset

Generally MIMO uncorrelated channel can be obtained at the price of using high antenna spacing or precoding systems which are not only awkward to the requirement of the limited space platforms but also add to complexity of implementation. In this paper the multiple- input multiple -output millimeter wave channel is studied. We assume that the system is surrounded by the scattering environments. For an achievable significant low amount of correlation channel, in order to be closed to that of uncorrelated channel, the proposed system is shown to be mountable on small platforms such as the mobile handset As application, the performance of the orthogonal space-time block codes (OSTBC) over the channel is simulated and shown closer to that of uncorrelated channel.
