Research on a Two Value Generalized Hough Transform Method of Identification
An improved Generalized Hough transform method for distinguishing similar licenses number is proposed in this paper, here it is called the two value Generalized Hough transform which improved the Generalized Hough transform according to the features of license number. When making the R table, taking into account the unique features of each license number, which will be taken as a constraint to add into the R table constructed by traditional method, then forming a new two value R table. Experimental results show that this method can rapidly and effectively distinguish the similar license numbers, and is also applicable to recognize other similar graphics.
