The Method of Path Planning and Attitude Adjustment Based on Virtual Flying Characters

With the automatic generation technology of computer animation and the description of scene with the linear octree, a method of path searching for 3D virtual flying characters and path optimization by interpolation of key points is advanced. What is more, the characters pose can be controlled while flying. The methods can provide more reasonable path for flying characters and the path has a certain optimal under the restrained condition of meeting character motion. The flying characters pose can be well controlled with the method of attitude adjustment. The satisfied effect of animation can be obtained by using those methods. Therefore, they present a certain value in application.
