NEW INSIGHTS TO DATABASE SECURITY AN EFFECTIVE AND INTEGRATED APPROACH TO APPLYING ACCESS CONTROL MECHANISMS AND CRYPTOGRAPHIC CONCEPTS IN MICROSOFT ACCESS ENVIRONMENTS

This paper will discuss two concepts of database security: users privileges and the sensitivity level of information.An advanced technique will be used to take advantage of access control mechanisms and the use of cryptographic fundamentals in Microsoft access applications to provide a balanced approach that satisfies the convenience of access to confidential data while preserving the integrity and secrecy of confidential data.
