COLLEGE ENGLISH EDUCATION CALLS FOR ASSISTANCE OF COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY
The importance of technologys application to English education has been paid more and more attention by English educators and other scholars.By analyzing the essence of education and a brief review of general education in China and America, the paper here points out a calling for the nurture of the students in education and the coming back of general education to colleges.At present college English education has not effectively taken the advantages that computer technology can provide for a more efficient and effective one.The conclusion of the paper is clear: modern technology should be applied scientifically and reasonably to college English education to help cultivating high quality college graduates and fulfilling the mission of college education.
