A DISCUSSION ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF ONLINE COLLEGE ENGLISH TEACHING MATERIALS

摘要：

Although various College English Textbooks can be found and applied in present college English teaching, the limitations of these teaching materials are obvious: they can not satisfy the individualism demands of such a big number of college students in China either in quanty or quality.To meet the requirements of different colleges in their development of their students, colleges should be encouraged to develop their own textbooks to realize the objectives of college English reform: making college English teaching and learning efficient and effective with more input and output, with the guarantee of the diversity in form and structure and content and abundance in amount of the textbooks with the suppliment of unlimited resources of the Internet
