Human Resource Management in Small Firms: Some Preliminary Results in the State Of Kuwait

It is believed that the functions and issues of human resources are undermined in small firms because of giving the attention to earningproducing functions such as operations and marketing. Yet, there is a new trend of thinking that smallness is making firms very distinct in their human resource practices. Based on the study of 101 small firms in the State of Kuwait, this study provides some preliminary findings of human resource practices.
