An Empirical Research of Employee Engagement of Colliery Enterprise: Cause and Effect
Employee engagement is a barometer and an important index of corporate performance. Although there were some studies about employee engagement, however, most of them were concentrated on job burnout and stress, but there are few studies on the separation rate. In addition, most samples of existing studies were teachers, doctors and policemen. The studies about the employees of colliery enterprises were few. Hence, this paper made a study of the employee engagements of colliery enterprise. It shows that employee demographics influenced employee engagement and employee engagement influenced separation rate, which had a negative effect on corporate performance.
