A Novel Ambulatory ECG Compression Method Based on Feature Wave Detection And Downsampling
In order to store and long-distance transmit ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG) conveniently, a data compression algorithm with downsampling and interpolation is proposed. To retain important diagnostic information from original signal, a QRS feature wave detection algorithm is employed. Compared with other similar algorithms, a higher compression ratio (CR) is achieved in this paper. Especially, the issues of multi-leads and long-time record of ambulatory ECG have been solved effectively.
