A Novel Control System for Induction Motors Based on Dual-PWM Three-Level Voltage Source Converter
According to the shortcomings of traditional AC-DC-AC electrical driving systems, this paper presents a dual-PWIVI method for the three-level voltage source converter (VSC) to drive an induction motor (1M) . By applying the voltage space vector (SVPWM) method, the system can achieve bidirectional flow of energy, minimize both input and output current harmonics, get unity input power factor,, and enhance dynamic performance of the speed control. In addition, simulation of the proposed scheme has been conducted and the results prove that the system has a fast dynamic response and steady characteristics.
