Cloud Computing: Is It Ready for Clinical Information System?
Cloud Computing, a convergence of distributed computing, parallel computing, cluster computing and utility computing, is emerging as a new promising key technology for ? the next generation of Internetbased computing model. Clinical information is very important resource to make the best decision for patients health care. The security and reliable management of clinical information are two key factors for the successful treatment of patients. In this paper, we study the features of Cloud Computing and investigate the feasibility of the Cloud Computing paradigm for the security and management of clinical information.
