Design on Adjustable Multiple-Parameter Pulse Generator
In order to overcome the limitations of pulse inductive instrument applied in the research of cell electroporation, which includes that waveform is monotonic and the ranges of pulse width and amplitude are not enough. Based on the principle of direct digital synthesis (DDS), field programmable gate array (FPGA) chip is used to design and accomplish a pulse generator with adjustable pulse amplitude, tunable pulse width and pulse interval, which can form several Pulse shapes, such as semi-sine, triangle, sawtooth and square wave. This device could expand the application range of electroporation technology in biomedical engineering research.
