An Entropy-based Tasks Assignment Algorithm for Wireless Sensor and Actor Networks
An entropy-based tasks assignment algorithm is proposed to solve the hot zone problem of the whole network. The cost model of taking action based on entropy is established by using auction method. Considering network situation, a balanced or nonbalanced task assignment optimization problem is formulated. The result of simulation shows that the algorithm could provide more balance in energy consumption and higher real-time performance.
