The FIR Filter Design Method Based on Improved Genetic Algorithm
The Finite Impulse Response (FIR) fitter design target is to approximate the ideal fitters on the request of a given specifications. Genetic algorithms is a global optimal search algorithm of mimic biological evolution, there are Precocious and Slow convergence problems if it is directly applicated. Based on these problems, the method is used adaptive selection to improve in the choice of the crossover operator and- its mutation operator, based on design features of FIR filter frequency sampling method , we use improved genetic algorithm, Look-up table, references, and the proposed method by software simulation in the same design specifications, its results show that the proposed method can obtain better results.
