Construction of learning unit information model of project-centered training courses in e-Learning environment
Based on the conceptual model of learning unit of project-centered training courses, this paper explored a new information model of learning unit, constructed an original model of domain knowledge using ontology description language OWL, described the learning units structure using XML. The information model of learning unit adopted more terms that are related to the course itself or learning activities. At the same time, this information model is mapped to and in turn compared with SCORM, IMS-LD. The model of domain knowledge solved the former problem in the process of analyzing the relationship between the different knowledge types. Based on the original model of domain knowledge, it can effectively model domain knowledge from the perspective of instructional design, and guide the design of learning tasks.
