Research on the Role of the Internet in College English Teacher Development
Along with the rapid spread of the Internet and the advancement of education informationization, teacher development is very urgent and drawing more and more attention. This paper tries to reveal the role of the Internet in college English teacher development by conducting two questionnaires, which are respectively aimed at analyzing the use of network and the networks influence on teachers teaching practice, development awareness. Then two variance analyses are made by dividing respondents into different age groups and different academic title groups. The author hopes that this survey can contribute to the future college English teacher professional development.
