A novel Asynchronous Handoff for Mobile Network

A novel prefix delegation based asynchronous handoff for network mobility (NEMO) is proposed to solve the problems in handoff process, such as handoff delay, triangle .routing, and packet overhead. Fast MIPv6 and prefix delegation schemes were used to decrease the handoff latency of NEMO and to solve inefficient routing. The asynchronous handoff between mobile network nodes and mobile router reduces the burden of mobile router. Moreover, it is also of great benefit to end to end security policies. Analyses show that this approach has a good performance in routing optimization, handoff delay and signaling overhead.
