PSO Based Node Placement Optimization for Wireless Sensor Networks

摘要：

This paper presents a multi-objective optimization methodology for sensor network design. A PSO-based approach used as a tool for optimization of most important parameters of wireless sensor networks. Optimal operational modes of the nodes in order to minimize the energy consumption and meet applicationspecific requirements have been investigated. Also other optimizations have been done on clustering and communication range of sensors.
