A Resource-Oriented Model for Identity Provisioning and Its Application
Existing identity provisioning models are generally user-oriented or service provider-oriented, which can hardly meet the requirements of integration for heterogeneous resources of enterprise. This paper presents a unified identity provisioning model for accessing of heterogeneous resources: providing resource identity, offering provisioning operation of unified identity through identity mapping, and also providing-SPML-based Identity provisioning interface. Unified identity shields differences of identity information among resources in heterogeneous environment, which makes users get the ability to access resources with one unified identity.
