A New Operating System Based on Cloud Computing - Its Principles and Design

the rapid development of requirements both from the enterprises and the individuals asks for high scalability, performance and reliability, and so cloud computing appears on that scene. Basic computing and storages migrates from traditional signal server or client to the cloud which is constructed for high resource utilization ratio and scalability. However, the popular cloud operating systems (OS) no matter desktop OS such as Google Chrome OS or web based desktop like eyeOS heavily rely on the cloud and ignores the local terminal computing capability. So this paper proposes a new OS archetype which focuses on utilizing both terminal ability and the cloud power, and releases related issues based on the new OS.
