Selection of Detouring Vehicles for Traffic Organization in Reconstruction and Expansion Project of Freeway

摘要：

Choosing what type of vehicle to detour is an important part in traffic organization in freeway reconstruction and expansion project. The experience of vehicle selection is first concluded. Base on vehicles traveling characteristics, the comparison of each selection is provided. The application and limitation of each selection are based on capacity, safety, network service level and some other aspects. The reconstruction and expansion project of BeijingHong Kong-Macao Freeway( Hebei section) is illustrated as an incidence to conduct the selection of. detouring vehicles.
