Design and Implementation of the Laser Range-gating Imaging Synchronization Control System

Described a laser range-gating imaging principle, pointed out the key issues in system design, design and implementation of FPGA-based laser range-gating images systems. System uses the rangefinder, adjustable pulsed laser active Illuminating and ICCD technology combined. Pulse characteristics of laser light source, single pulse energy and the strobe imaging device performance will determine the rangegating imaging of the range resolution, detection range properties. FPGA implementation of the synchronization control process to explore in detail the role. Experiment to -verify the theoretical analysis of the accuracy and efficiency of the technology of gated confirmed laser range-gating laser technology is to overcome the backscattering enhance-gated imaging system signal to noise ratio of the effective method.
