Model Analysis and Local Stability Research of Synchronous Structure of the Fuel Tank and Steel Wire Rope in Multi-Stage Telescopic Boom
In this paper, we improved the standard algorithm for telescopic boom by finite element method. The structure vibration stability of telescopic boom is obtained through model analysis, and then by comparison and analysis, the precise model was established. Thus through an example, we have tested and verified the characteristics of the telescopic boom that is easy to contended, and we found the location where the boom get its maximum vibration displacement. We have also established a rational mechanical model that take the local stability of steel cable system into account. Further more, we compared it with the output obtained by crane standard, and got that the dangerous cross-section chosen according to standard algorithm is not accurate. Because under the action of Wire rope pulley systems, the local stability of box structure has improved, so the algorithm recommended by crane design standard is safe but conservative.
