Interactive 3D Reconstruction based on Augmented Reality for Museum Education
This paper briefly introduces the design method of interactive 3D reconstruction based on augment reality for museum. The system changes the previous passive interaction into active for user through user-defined registration matrix. Using this method implement the more comprehensive fusion between real scene and the virtual 3D world. Paper presents the basic modules constitute in augmented reality system, and to achieve the scene rendering for the Earth hall in natural history museum. Through system testing, visitors deeply feel a new museum education experience way. Some issues and visitors expectation based on these findings for further development of augment reality in museum education are being discussed.
