The Implementation of a Portable 3D Analyzer Using Infrared Technique
This study is major to establish a portable NDT imaging system of infrared to provide the 2D CT as well as 3D CT images. The developed system is using the transmission of infrared to observe the structure of test phantoms; To match up the accurate angles feature on stepping motor to complete the continuous imaging on phantom with different angles, and then reconstruct the serial images to 2D CT images and 3D CT images by using the back projection and superposition principle. The results show that the method we proposed in phantoms verification is feasible, but it is unsatisfied to measure the human fingers. It means that the proposed back projection algorithm in human fingers reconstruction still needs to be improved.
