De-noise Speech Signal by Wavelet Packet

摘要：

De-noise speech signal if it contains noise before processing or recognizing it Traffic noise is in low frequency comparing to the speech signal. Construct a wavelet according to Daubechies method, and derive a wavelet packet from the constructed scaling and wavelet functions. Decompose the noisy speech signal by wavelet packet Develop algorithms to de-noise and compress the decomposed terminal nodes coefficients, and reconstruct the wavelet packet tree. Re-build audio file using reconstructed data and the result is nearly perfect.
