Vehicles Motion Estimation at the License Plate Using Line Scan Camera

摘要：

A novel method is proposed for the vehicles motion estimation. One single line scan camera is used to collect the linear array image of the license plate. The deformation of the license plate contains the motion information of the moving vehicle. The corner special points are picked to calculate the speed, direction and position of the vehicle. Finally, the relevance of the method is testified in the experiments.
