Improvements of Model Predictive Control for Five-phase Voltage Source Inverters
Model Predictive Control strategy has been applied in the current tracking control of five-phase inverters in recent works. This paper proposes several improvements upon the existing research. These improvements focuses mainly on two aspects: the selection of switching states involved in the prediction process and the elimination of the delay caused by prediction process. Simulation results show the improved strategy has powerful current tracking ability and high out put current quality.
