Virtual Maintenance Application Research and Efficiency Evaluation Based on Motion Capture
As a new technology, virtual maintenance simulation technology- has been widely used in many areas, including aviation maintenance, which makes up the disadvantage of traditional design by eliminating the limit of physical prototypes. This paper presents a method for civil airliner maintenance which applies motion captures device and virtual maintenance software, completes the simulation process of the nose landing gear wheel removing, introduces the modeling of digital model and simulation process of virtual maintenance in detail, and evaluates the efficiency of maintenance actions. According to the evaluating conclusion, the method has a broad application prospect in maintenance staff training and aircraft maintenance design.
