Pressing Yellow Line Detection Based on Hough Transform

Due to the current video-based vehicle pressing line detection algorithm, there is a higher false detection and missing case in practical application. The article objectively compares and learns from existing video surveillance technology on the basis of analysis and research of intelligent transportation system. According to the characteristics of the central yellow line region into straight-line distribution in road traffic, the pressure line detection algorithm based on Hougb transform is proposed to detect whether the vehicle is pressed the center yellow line area roads. Firstly it identifies the yellow line region from real-time image by using Hough transform, and then calculates the length of yellow line. Finally, according to the length of the yellow line to judge whether a vehicle was rolled press the yellow line. The results show that the algorithm is better than other algorithms on the rate of false detection and undetected case, better meets the needs of engineering practice.
