Realization of Decoding Binary BCH Codes Based on Chiens Search Algorithm
An algebraic decoding algorithm to correct random error in binary BCH codes are presented at the background of Peterson algorithm. The deduced equations as well as solutions are given correspondingly. Thismethod has successfully been implemented in the television monitoring system which using a single coaxial-cable to transmit video signals and control signals simultaneously. The feasibility and reliability of the real-time data communication are improved greatly.
