Interactive Fountain Simulation Based on Particle System
The fountain effect can greatly enhance the immersion characteristic of virtual reality system, which has been widely used in computer game, movie and TV, advertisement and visual simulation system. Particle system is an effective method in fountain simulation. A fountain simulation method based on particle system is proposed, the basic idea is to draw fountain particles using texture color blending, and to simulate the movement trajectories of particles applying the physics principles, including parabolic trajectories and splash of the fountain particles.
