Ubiquitous Computing-Based Knowledge Service Enhancing the Capability of Autonomous and Pervasive Knowledge Acquisition
The concept of KM has been getting buried alive, nowadays, in spite of its tremendous potentials to organizations because of some technical limitations as well as cultural barriers. One of the most serious problems of conventional KM is tardy and ineffective acquisition of knowledge. Therefore, this paper suggests an amended knowledge acquisition framework, especially focused on the autonomous acquisition of knowledge in daily discussions as well as the pervasive distribution of knowledge. The suggested methodology for knowledge acquisition is basically processed in an automated manner, however follows the same pattern of human experts activities to acquire knowledge by deploying the capabilities of ubiquitous computing technologies. Based on the proposed concepts, the ubiquitous computing-based knowledge management system(ubiKMS) is illustrated, which enables the pervasive and proactive services of knowledge for upcoming era of knowledge society.
