Conceptual Metaphors in Business English Discourses

摘要：

The metaphorical use of language in business discourses is investigated to study the metaphorical nature of business activities. The metaphorical business expressions are sanctioned by the metaphorical concepts. The four types of conceptual metaphors present the systematicity of business metaphors and the metaphorical nature of business activities.
