Empirical Research on the Scholarship Evaluation System for Graduate Students
The scholarship for students is a conclusion for their learning in an academic year. Whether the evaluation is reasonable or not will directly influence the initiatives of the students to learn. In this paper, in accordance with the scholarship evaluation systems at the higher learning schools, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and other methods are applied to establish the hierarchical reduction structural model, and simultaneously an empirical research is conducted by combining the scholarship evaluation system for the graduate students at Northwest University for Nationalities in which the authors work as teachers. Through the integration of the qualitative and quantitative analyses, the authors carry out a comprehensive evaluation for the scholarship evaluation system for the graduate students at his school, and inspect its reasonableness, and also make appropriate adjustment to its unreasonable factors, with the purpose of improving the existing scholarship evaluation system for the graduate students further.
