Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of TA15 Titanium Alloy Φ8 mm Tube
The paper studies the microstructure and the properties of Φ8×0.7 mm TA15 alloy tubes produced by warm cogging and cold rolling from extruded blanks. The results show that the alloy can realize more than 50% warm rolling deformation;about 32% cold rolling deformation for finished product;heat treatment system for intermediate and finished product is 800-850℃/1-2 h. with the increasing of the experimental temperature,strength goes down and ductility goes up. Proper processing temperature range for TA15 titanium alloy tube can be taken.
