The Important Technology Parameters of Elbow Made by Diameter-expanding and Pushing-bend Method
The forming principle of elbow made by expandingdiameter and pushing-bend and the effect of important technology parameters on elbow size and shape are discussed. The technology parameters include the design of forming ram s horn core, design of inductive heating cool, pushing temperature, temperature field distribution along the rams core,pushing rate and size and precision control of finished production. Due to the difference of physical properties and tensile strength at high temperature, the elbow of different material should be chosen different processing technology parameters to assure shape and dimensional accuracy according to material characteristics.
