Deformation Features at Rolling and Tension under Current in Ti-based Alloys
Features of influence of plastic deformation with a current,on structure and mechanical properties of titanium alloys VT1-0.VT6 and TiNi in coarse-grained (CG) and ultrafine-grained (UFG) states are investigated. Introduction of a pulse current at cold rolling stimulates deformability increase, and at a tension causes occurrence of stress jumps connected with phase transformation or electroplastic effect (EPE). It is shown that EPE is the structurallysensitive property dependent on the grain size.
