Problems of Formation of Fine-grained Structure in Castings from Ti-Al System Alloys (γ-Alloys)
Alloys on the base of Ti-Al intermetallide (γ-alloys) are the most resistant titanium alloys, with working temperature up to 800℃ Intermetallic γ-alloy is high alloyed one with aluminium content ~35 (wt. %). The important technological method improving casting quality is HIP.
