An Analysis and Managerial Application on Work-Family Conflict
Workfamily conflict has been a hot topic in human resource management. As employees attempt to balance work demands and family responsibilities, organizations will have to decide to what extent they will go to deal with this conflict. Researches have identified numerous negative consequences of workfamily conflict both for organizations and for employees’ families. There are many options to reduce this conflict, but each with advantages and disadvantages. In this paper, an indepth ethical analysis is applied to this issue to present an alternative view in addressing this problem. In addition, a connection between the analysis and management theory is investigated to provide a foundation for managerial application for resolving workfamily conflict.
