Comparison of E-government Strategy Between Chinese and Foreign Nations: Content, Model and Characteristics
With rapid development of ICT and Internet, the ICT has been widely used to prompt all aspects of a modern society. Based on the ICT and Internet, the Egovernment has been adopted by many nations which are aiming to reform their traditional management in the public sector. Of course, China is not an exception. This paper aims to compare the Egovernment strategies between China and foreign nations. By making research on the contents, models and basic characteristics of Egovernment strategies in the compared nations, this paper tries to generate some valuable suggestions on how to reinforce and improve the Chinese Egovernment strategy and better its utilization in the context of globalization. As a result, the Egovernment strategy can be viewed as a dramatic reforming endeavor to reengineer the Chinese government.
