Empirical Analysis on Evolution of Motivation of Foreign Investors’ Merger and Acquisition
In this paper, empirical study on evolution of motivation of foreign investors’ merger and acquisition was carried out around the typical case of foreign investors M&A. Corporate quetionaire and Logistic Regression Model were used to analyze. The result shows that the motivation of FIMA in China has gradually change, which is not for lowpriced labor force and achievement shared in stockholding way, but for realization of company’s intention of global strategic layout to pursue industry integration, resource controls, monopoly status and the eradication of potential competitors, etc. The level of intensity of foreign investors’ strategic M&A has increased. foreign investors’M&A are transferring gradually from single and scattered modes to more systematic ones.
