Study on the Comparative Advantage of China’s Agricultural Products
This article overviews the China’s agricultural trade in recent years, analyzes the comparative advantages in the production of agricultural products by RCA and TC index. The study shows that the competitiveness of China’s agricultural products decreased further. The laborintensive products are of competitive advantage while the landintensive ones are of competitive disadvantage. The deep processing agricultural products have better comparative advantage than the fresh and live ones. Finally, we try to get some policy implications from the empirical and policy to achieve a great increase of the competition ability of the main export products.
