Research on Existing Problems in Performance Management of College Teachers and Countermeasures
This paper analyzes current problems in management of performances in Chinese colleges, including unclear objective of evaluations, insufficient evaluation indicators, deficient communication on performances, inadequate utilization of evaluation results, lack of trainings for evaluation subjects, etc.; the paper provides measures for improvement, like establishing developmental concepts for management of performances of college teachers, constructing differentiated system of indicators for performance evaluation, completing system for performance communication, utilizing results of evaluations in a scientific way, enhancing trainings for subjects of evaluations, etc., to give full play to the enthusiasm and initiative of college teachers, and stimulate their creativity.
