On the public administration in the post-modern society
The postmodern public administration is built on the basis of critical theory of modern public administration. It has stressed that the public administration should be more responsive to the needs of society. Charles 旿 ?Fox, has constructed the whole system of postmodern public administration. He proposed the concept of discourse theory on basis of the constructivism, the structural theory, combined with the theory of public energy field. He advocates that there should be more open dialogue and debate in public affairs, that more rights of speak should be given to the public so that public policy can fully reflect the interests of each involved.
