The Application of Macro Scal Hyarological Model Rimoff Simulation of Jialingjiang River Basin
Macro scale distributed hydrological model has currently been an important tool to assess effect of environmental change on hydrology. Taking Jialingjiang River catchment as a case, grid-based VIC model was established. Based on land surface dataset derived by University of Maryland, parameter dataset of VIC model was constructed as well through referencing results from LDAS. Simulation results of four hydrometric stations in Jianglingjiang River catchment indicate that VIC model can simulate daily or monthly discharge well; water balance errors between simulated and recorded runoffs for four hydrometric stations are less than 5% while NashSutcliffe coefficients of daily and monthly discharge simulation are both beyond 70% and 90% respectively. The established VIC model can be used to assess impact of climate change on water resources and flood event in Jialingjiang River catchment.
